25th November officially kicks off the official United Nations #16 days Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV).

This year USAID SAFE is supporting the Rwenzori Women Leaders Peace Forum and the Rwenzori Youth Leaders Peace Forum to raise awareness on GBV in the Rwenzori sub-region in Kasese, Bundibugyo, Kabarole and Ntoroko districts.

They will hold discussions with students, foster students and hold essay writing competitions around issues of gender-based violence.

Members of the forum will also participate in radio talk shows.

SAFE will provide updates on these actions on our Facebook page, Twitter account and here.
