Annet  has previously served as a Legal Officer with the Centre for Reparation and Rehabilitation and a Legal Assistant at War Child Canada.

Annet also worked as a consultant for the Federación Internacional de Abogadas (FIDA) in Uganda and Action Aid International where she conducted community dialogues on women’s land and property rights, carried out mobile legal aid clinics, and trained paralegals, law enforcement officers and local leaders on the land rights of women and children.

Her areas of expertise include: conflict mitigation; enhancing access to justice for the vulnerable and marginalized groups (such as women, children and the youth); civil society and democracy; human rights advocacy; and the monitoring and investigation of rights violations.

Annet holds a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center in Kampala and a Bachelors of Laws from Makerere University and is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda.
